Thursday, December 04, 2008 Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to inform you that there will be 2 plant shutdown in both Singapore and Malaysia Operations in Dec 2008 X'mas and Jan 2009 New Year period. Detail is as per following: 1. 26 Dec 2008 (Friday) one day after X'mas Day. 2. 2 Jan 2009 (Friday) one day after New Year Day. Company will be deducting 2 days annual leave from staff annual leave entitlement for this two plant shutdown period. HR Department will deduct automatically from the employees' entitlement, employees should not do their own leave application to avoid double deduction. For staff under probation, leave will be deducted in advance. Medical leave during this plant shutdown will be consider as annual leave as this is a planned block leave for the entire organisation. We will resume our operations on 29 Dec 2008 (Monday) and 5 Jan 2009 (Monday) respectively. Pleased proceed to inform your respective customers, vendors and business partners (external and internal) on the shutdown period accordingly. Kindly take note that official holiday for Chinese New Year starts from 26 Jan 2009 to 27 Jan 2009. Company will be deducting 3 days annual leave from staff annual leave entitlement for the plant shutdown from 28 Jan 2009 to 30 Jan 2009. Best regards and have a nice day nw i realli wonder hw many of us can realli last till then...jux now, wendy came telling me during lunch tat KT wans to chop away 2 pple in admin...one of them will be the recept. and wanted to chop our despatch guy away too. but lucky thing, our depatch alwax has his things done properly...places that he been to, will have signed n chopped..lucky him...so then in the end, i think it draws dwn to 1 person ganna chop. Angela is having a hard time now...she doesnt want to let go of either of us...both my recepts are not bad...Nurima and Ivy. but KT doesnt like nuri. reason being Nuri has been taking leave or mc quite often recently and when Ivy 1st came in, she chldnt tk the pressure here and broKe dwn n wanted t leave....after Angela talked to her, then she decided to stay..till now... as for Nuri, shes good..other than liking to take mc or leave, when she 1st join, angela sacked one of my then recept..and Nuri was alone for near 3mths surviving lor!!!~~~didnt take leave nothing..even sick also come to wrk... haiz....this is actualli the 1st time im facing with this kinda retrenchment..last time was back in ard 2002/03..according to both wendy and rainna...they both experienced it previous round..as in, seen hw bad everything were...haiz...its scary lor...when u dun knw when it is your turn kinda thing...i've been hearing this going on in the company for quite some time liao..bosses are told to submit a namelist for the pple they wanna axe away....then nw, as you can see, we are all having to undergo forced leave etc.. overheard Don*one of my senior director* saeing...walau, next yr, beginning of the year...already gann chop away few daes of leave liao arh....haiyoh.....pathetic hor.... having a meeting at 1530....boringz.. bOo bOO is out nw doing urgent delivery..and damn heavy rain lor...just smsed him...poOr him..dunno if he toOk umbrella mah.... till now then i knw that he takes notice of wad i wear...wakakaka..on Tue nite,. when we were on Msn, he asked me if i was wearing a white top on that dae...hurhurhur...told him yes...cox i was walking ard the office tat dae mah..then he told me he sae frm the panel of the meeting room...silly rite... so since then, i gtta realli think of wad to wear etc liao..and so coincidence..yesterdae, i was wearing a white top with a black with white strip vest over..and he was wearing a white shirt with some black strips...opposite me...and todae, we are both wearing black top/ shirt..buahahaha...mon was..hmm..me a black top, he a grey shirt...wakakakaka....lets see hw long this 'telepathy' can go on lah...hee... oh yea..showed him thru the web cam the beginning of my scar and hw messy my study room table is..buahahahaha.... my PerFeCt LifE-`.  |
