HUGE: The revolving stage for Aaron Kwok's De Show Reel concert. The HK singer, 43, looking trim and buff at a show.

The 43-year-old veteran singer and his concert production team broke the Guinness World Record recently for setting up and performing on the world's largest indoor revolving stage.

In his 16 electrifying concerts - titled De Show Reel - held at the Hong Kong Coliseum and Asia Expo between the end of 2007 and early 2008, Aaron wowed fans by dancing on a 10m by 9.44m revolving platform.

The translucent, colourful platform is constructed in a boxed design, thick in width with many cubicles and partitions for Aaron and his crew of dancers to perform in.

It looks stunning from all angles, rotating both vertically and horizontally, elevating everyone on stage up to as high as 10 metres.

The stage and the set-up alone will take five days to construct - the longest for a one-day show, said Ms Denise Marsh, chief executive officer of the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Scorpio East Productions, the organiser of Aaron's concert, had to book the stadium for five days just to build and set up the stage, plus an additional day to dismantle it, she added.

Big, bulky props

Ms Adeline Low, director of Scorpio East Productions, said that a usual gig would take two to three days to set up and dismantling it would usually be done overnight.

'In Aaron's case, most of the props are big, bulky, and have to be transported into the stadium through cargo containers.'

Cost wise, it is a hefty sum too.The entire staging of the concert costs more than $1 million, said Ms Low.

the whole concert was about 3hr+..started off at abt 830pm and ended near 12midnite..towards the ending encore...we all walked dwn and a caught a considered near glimpse of him!!!! while he was singing the song.. 等我回来..the last song sang...my heart realli melt literalli lor!!!!! awww~~~ so memerized by him....hurhurhur....

in the concert, he not only sang and danced but also played the piano!!!!! gosh...so talented can!!!! hurhurhurhur..

after the concert, we headed dwn old airport road for supper and then back home..was suppose to meet YK but my cell was total dead liao..due to taking pics during the concert....

but then again, was feeling tired..having bad headache lor.. :( think its due to the weather or wad...actualli woke me up from my sleep lah..how terrible can...kaoz....

i realli spent my weekends sleeping away lor...

fri after wrk, went down town with mummy and only managed to get a pair of heels...

reach home, showered and slept like at 1230 till the following afternoon..slept for like 12hrs straight and flat man..freaking tired...mentalli tired i suppose..afterall, the whole week has been mentally torturing for me...wrk wise..US side has given me lotsa problems...haben been sleeping well since i toOk over US side lor...personal wise, as you all know already.,.im official single..and yes, no doubt i knew the r/s was a sooner or later gone thing, when u eventualli know that u've lost it, somehow, a part of you feels weird...afterall, the r/s has been with me for a long time..32mths to be exact..i've spent 32mths with him...even when the whole world tells me hes not the best for me and even i myself knw tat too..but then...the times spent with him isnt short...then theres bOo ther too..who happens to just pop outta no where...who walks into my life quietly and somehow is making an impact in my life too...sigh...

at times, i think im jux so tired of everything surrounding that all i want is to have a good break..like wad i have yesterdae and todae..to not go think of anything but jux to realli rest my brains....and i think these 2 daes are like so not enough...hurhurhur....

tml is a brand new week and a brand new month...and it also marks 2009 half year gone...time is passing so fast that it simply just slips by w/o u realising it......
